FISTULA - OLD SCHOOL VS DR.MITTAL TECHNIQUE OF KSHAR SUTRA/KARMA
Old School | Dr. Mittal Technique | |
Time | It takes a longer duration of treatment because the patient has to visit for sittings/dressings in the gap of 15to21 days (for example, it would take about 6 to 10 months to perform 20 sittings/dressings). |
Takes less time to treat because the patient has to visit for sittings/dressings in the gap of 2to3days (for example, it would take about only 60days to perform 20 sittings/dressing). |
Pain |
During each & every sitting/dressing patient have to quarrel with pain because the KSHAR SUTRA has to be removed & re-implanted in each sitting/ dressing.
|
KSHAR SUTRA has to be re-implanted after 3to5 sittings with bearable or no pain.
|
Multiple Tracks | In most cases of multiple complex fistulas only one track is treated at one time and treatment of another track starts after the completion of the first/one track, which increases the time duration of treatment. | Treatment of multiple tracks can be done simultaneously, reducing the time to get cured. |
Anesthesia |
most of the cases are done under general/spinal anesthesia.
|
Only in a few cases which are complex or have multiple tracks) local surface anesthesia is required. General/spinal anesthesia is the choice for only fearful patients to perform main/first therapy in very severe or complex cases.

What It Means
ALLOPATH is a Greek word where “ALLOS” is DIFFERENT & “PATHOS” is DISEASE or SUFFERING, which means other than the disease.
AYURVEDA is a Sanskrit word where “AYU” is LIFE and “VEDA” is SCIENCE or KNOWLEDGE, which means knowledge of life or science of life.
Ayurveda or Allopath
It’s a justified question for every Dr & patient before starting any treatment because it’s about The Life…
It’s better to discuss to improve the knowledge about the merits and demerits of treatment in all aspects to choose a better and safer side. While debating on Ayurveda vs. Allopath the first thought that comes to mind is that allopathic treatment provides faster recovery in comparison to Ayurveda, but this is true only to some extent. Ayurveda may be slow but gives permanent relief because vanishing the superficial symptoms and removing the root cause of the disease are different prospects that count and matter while choosing the right treatment to save lives from lifelong side effects like MDR & ADR.
Treatment Line
works on the Five Great Elements and DOSHA (disease-causing factors of the body) to maintain the equilibrium of the body and treats the root cause of the disease with natural medicines which are part of our genetic memory. Where allopathic medicine sees the illness as an attack on the body & treats it as a fight against it but Ayurveda approaches the disease as an imbalance in the body & treatment works to bring the body back into balance.
The Right Treatment
chemicals that have been consumed as drugs for treatment convert easily curable disease to chronic/incurable disease &at this phase, Ayurveda has to first work on the resistance conditions along with fighting with disease. Of course, it’s easy to cut the superficial branches to subside the symptoms and it’s hard to dig out the routes to cure the disease while promoting immunity and maintaining the equilibrium of the body, on the other hand we can say that Western Chemical Synthetic Medical System/Allopath is good to treat when a secondary infection is there or intensive care is needed in an emergency like a quick fix.
